![]() He has no experience as a spy, but after many of the world’s best professional hitmen failed in their tasks to kill Polzin, Will’s personal vendetta against the man works out in the CIA’s favor. ![]() He’s an ex-military man who is now CIA’s plan B to kill the Russian billionaire, Polzin. The way we’re introduced to Kit is confusing and I hope that more is explained in the novel of how he got his job as a Russian billionaire’s bodyguard. Even as far as shorts go, I can see the potential for the main story, but I’m just not really feeling the connection between Will and Kit. I know this is intended as a short short to introduce the characters in the full-length novel that’s being published next month, Enemies Like You. Now Kit has to convince Will to walk away–from his quest for justice, and from the red-hot passion that’s spinning out of control. But when Will moves on the billionaire at an elite party, things with Will and Kit take an unexpected-steamy-twist. Kit’s a hardened assassin who’ll do what it takes to protect his boss. ![]() Nobody knows what he looks like they only know him by the trail of bodies he leaves behind. One problem: the billionaire’s bodyguard. Now Will has a chance to go after the corrupt billionaire who sold them out. Two years ago, the men in Will’s unit were killed in an ambush because they were betrayed. Author(s): Joanna Chambers and Annika MartinĪmazon | Barnes and Noble | Goodreads | Kobo SUMMARY
